This role is centered around diagnosing system challenges, designing long-term solutions, and ensuring engineering excellence across all phases of work.You'll play a key role in guiding projects from concept through execution—while also mentoring team members and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-performance outcomes.________________________________________What You'll DoEngineering & Design LeadershipEvaluate existing building systems and identify opportunities for improved performance and longevityPerform detailed load calculations and system sizing to optimize efficiencyLead full-cycle HVAC system design, including ductwork and piping layoutsDevelop construction documents and technical specifications, including stamped drawingsProblem Solving & InnovationMove beyond "like-for-like" replacements to uncover root causes and implement smarter solutionsRecommend system improvements through operational and controls strategiesStay current on emerging technologies and industry advancementsCollaboration & Client EngagementPartner with internal teams across automation, electrical, and structural disciplinesSupport client interactions by providing technical insight and building trustContribute to project pursuits by serving as the engineering expert in discussions with clients________________________________________What You BringBachelor's degree in Mechanical EngineeringActive Professional Engineer (PE) license6+ years of experience in HVAC design, ideally within commercial or retrofit environmentsStrong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEPSolid understanding of HVAC and energy codesAbility to think strategically and communicate complex ideas clearly________________________________________Compensation??
