Engineer, Drivers & Systems Software
Job Summary
As a Drivers & Systems Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement applications for our next generation remote monitoring and clinician notification system. This individual will be responsible for system level design of dashboards, networked communications and alarm notifications connecting data from medical devices.
Requirements
Experience with full stack development
Experience with C++ and/or Java programming language
Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Working knowledge of Operating Systems concept (i.e., multi-threading, scheduling, memory
management)
Experience with hands-on development using object-oriented techniques and designs patterns
Experience in design and implementation of back-end components and services
Experience in network programming
Experience with relational database modeling and design
Ability to excel in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare or medical device experience
Experience with HL7 or other healthcare system integration
Experience in fault-tolerant, secure and scalable distributed systems
Compensation + Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $105k plus benefits. Actual placement within this range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on company, department, and individual performance.
