Digital Sales Strategist
Position OverviewDigital Sales Strategist – Cumulus Media, Kansas City, KS. The Digital Sales Strategist will partner with the local sales team to maximize digital revenue growth across new and existing accounts. Acting as a digital subject matter expert, this strategic position will help identify upsell opportunities within the existing account portfolio and collaborate with sellers to grow digital revenue through new business development. The role involves recommending and pitching effective digital solutions to meet client marketing needs by integrating digital products and services with Cumulus' robust radio offerings, providing ongoing strategy, product support, and digital education to improve the sales team's knowledge and confidence in presenting digital solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve digital revenue budget by supporting and implementing digital sales strategies.Collaborate with local management to establish digital priorities and expectations for the local sales team.Support sales staff by participating in client needs assessment and client pitch meetings.Assist in developing client proposals.Become a subject-matter expert of Cumulus digital marketing platforms and offerings.Act as an external consultant and internal trainer on Cumulus' digital tactics, benefits, and trends.Analyze the existing customer base to identify upsell opportunities and collaborate with account executives to develop sales strategy, and participate in account management and renewal efforts as needed.Collaborate daily – maintain high levels of communication internally with station and corporate teams, and externally with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.Provide the sales team with ongoing digital education through coaching and training.Other duties and special initiatives as assigned.Qualifications5+ years of digital sales, marketing, or advertising experience required; media industry exposure is a plus.Experience selling and managing digital marketing solutions for local and regional advertisers.Experience with leading digital platforms such as Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, etc.Experience developing effective digital marketing strategies to accomplish advertiser goals.Solid understanding of the entire business-to-business sales process: pipelines, lead/revenue generation, successful closing processes, cross-platform solutions, etc.Excellent presentation skills required, along with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prioritize and solve client issues successfully.Time management and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Must be a team player, able to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external clients equally.Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field is preferred.Pay RangeUSD $120,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr.What We OfferCompetitive PayFocused, responsible and collaborative work environment with the ability to ask, "what if" and try innovative solutionsMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance coverage401K with company matchPaid Vacation, Sick & Holiday time offParental leave time off benefits, life insurance, disability insurance, wellness, and an employee referral bonus programEEO StatementCUMULUS MEDIA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).J-18808-Ljbffr
