Shift Leader/Cashier
*Now Hiring: Shift Lead / Cashier (Bakery Front-of-House)*
We are a busy, fast-paced bakery looking for a *Shift Lead / Cashier* to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who is *reliable, quick, customer-focused*, and interested in *long-term growth* with the company.
This position is *shift-lead focused*, with leadership responsibilities during assigned shifts.
*Languages*
* *English* – required (primary language for customer service)
* *Mandarin* – preferred (for internal communication, training, and coordination with management)
*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead front-of-house operations during assigned shifts
* Deliver excellent customer service (primarily in English)
* Manage front counter flow and lines during busy hours
* Support and guide team members on shift
* Communicate with management (Mandarin preferred) for:
* Daily tasks
* Training updates
* Shift handoff and reporting
* Basic opening and/or closing duties (as assigned)
* Keep front area clean, organized, stocked, and presentable
* Assist with packaging, order pickups, and coordination as needed
* Use basic computer tools for shift-related tasks (Microsoft Office, reports, communication)
*Requirements*
* Comfortable communicating with customers in English
* Able to communicate in Mandarin for internal coordination (preferred)
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Comfortable using computers and basic software (Microsoft Office, email, POS systems)
* Previous experience in *bakery, café, restaurant, retail, or cashier roles* is a plus
*Preferred Qualifications (Keywords)*
* Shift Lead / Key Holder / Supervisor experience
* Customer service experience
* Conflict resolution and team support
* Front-of-house (FOH) food service experience
