Job DetailsDescriptionPosition Overview Type: Full-TimeLocation: Huntsville, ALTravel: None expectedClearance: Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearanceWork Authorization: U.S. Citizenship requiredSummary/ObjectiveFive Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team.Essential FunctionsWorks independently and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve problemsContinuously oversee, monitor, and track IT contract(s) for cost, schedule, and performance; and provide monthly metrics and statusProvide expert support to government contracting representatives for associate contractors in the execution and administration of new project and baseline taskDevelop descriptive tasking language and assist with government cost estimatesAssist with government technical evaluations and recommendations to the Contracting OfficerParticipate in weekly meetings and customer requirements meetings to prepare and submit bi-weekly reportsAssist with developing, documenting, and implementing improved IT efficienciesAssist with reviewing, editing, and completing Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) associated with various DoD contractsIdentify trends or other issues that may require special consideration or proceduresPrepare briefings, white papers, information papers, recommendations, governance metrics, and policy assessmentsProvide expert assistance with quality assurance of the associate contractor’s execution of their contracted tasksAdvise and assist the government to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the MDA Office of the CIO in the delivery of IT solutions to the AgencySubmit for and track status of DoD approvals required for new contract effortsRequired Education And ExperienceEducation: Bachelors’ Degree in a field pertinent to position from an accredited institution plus 4 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs / projectsAcceptable alternative: 8 years of relevant IT experience working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program / projectsCapable of working independently and / or participating on sub-teams to analyze and resolve problemsWhat We Offer401(k) MatchingCompany EventsDental InsuranceEmployee Recognition ProgramsHealth InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time OffParental LeavePerformance IncentivesStudent Loan RepaymentTuition ReimbursementVision InsuranceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
