Business Development Specialist (
POSITION SUMMARY:General Roles and Responsibilities:• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Prefab business within Southwire• Exceed all revenue and profit goals that are set for with the prefab initiative • Work with all selling resources across the company to gain market share• Develop and train all direct sales resources as well as agent selling resources to ensure the success at the field level• Provide detailed market insights to the product team to assist with direction of the product and program in order to be successful • Provide key insights from targeted voice of customer to ensure the program continues to develop and keep up with trends as they moveQualifications and Experience Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field preferred • 3-5 years of outside sales or management experience in the electrical market, along with experience selling to: contractors, OEM's, and engineers. • 3-5 years in Electrical Prefabrication required• Ability to collaborate throughout multiple levels of the organization • Ability to develop a strategic plan, develop KPI's, and execute against them• Willingness to travel up to 50%MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field required.3-5 years of outside sales or management experience in the electrical market, along with experience selling to: contractors, OEM's, and engineers.3-5 years in Electrical Prefabrication required
