Electrical Senior Project Manager
Enterprise Electrical is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale Mission Critical Data Center Projects in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and other locations nationwide. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing the execution of electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.Schedule:This is a full-time position, with flexibility to work from home combined with project travel as necessaryProject schedules may require overtime, including evenings or weekends as neededResponsibilities:Direct and coordinate activities throughout the lifecycle of the project, ensuring quality control and cost-effective managementDevelop project plans, timelines, and budgets while adhering to compliance with legal regulations and industry standardsLead project status meetings, overseeing project schedules, progress reports, and change ordersCollaborate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goalsIdentify and manage risks and issues that may impact project performance and provide resolution strategiesOversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services, establishing contracts with suppliers and subcontractorsEnsure strict adherence to safety standards, promoting a culture of safety through regular training and communicationManage project close-out, providing final invoices and closeout documentation to clientsMentor and support junior staff in project management and electrical practicesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldAt least 8 years of experience in electrical project management, ideally within mission critical environmentsProven track record managing large-scale electrical projects. Strong understanding of electrical design, installation practices, and NEC codes. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are a must. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders. Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project). Certifications such as PMP or equivalent are a plusWillingness to travel for project needs, with potential long periods on-site.
