Role Description We are seeking a Principal Hardware Architect & Engineering Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Newport Beach, CA. This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of advanced hardware systems. Responsibilities include architecture and system-level planning, hardware prototyping, and overseeing engineering teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet technical and project objectives is key. The role also requires providing mentorship to engineering staff and ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Qualifications Proficiency in Hardware Development and Hardware ArchitectureDeep knowledge of System Architecture and Computer ArchitectureStrong expertise in Hardware design and engineeringExperience in FPGA-based systems and high-speed serial interfacesProven leadership and team management skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilitiesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldExperience in aerospace or defense industries is a plus
