Paint Mix Operator

Client: Fortune 500 Title: Paint Mix Operator Location: Madison, AL Duration: 03 Months (Contract to Hire) Schedule: 3:00pm – 11:30pm CST Pay Rate: $21/hr on W2 Job Overview: We are urgently hiring Paint Mix Operators to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves operating production equipment, mixing and batching coatings, and ensuring high-quality product output while maintaining strict safety standards. Candidates will be trained across multiple production functions including pre-mixing, material handling, filling, testing, and cleaning. Responsibilities: · Operate production equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets. · Blend and mix batches according to designated formulas. · Perform pre-mixing, material loading, filling, sampling, testing, and cleaning activities. · Record and document all batch adjustments accurately. · Set up and operate filtering and filling equipment as per batch instructions. · Follow detailed instructions related to labeling, container requirements, and material agitation. · Ensure work area cleanliness and maintain proper housekeeping standards. · Operate PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems. · Handle and move materials using powered material handling equipment (PMHE), including forklifts. · Load and unload bulk and finished products. · Maintain adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards. · Troubleshoot routine operational issues and support continuous process improvement. Qualifications: · High School Diploma or GED · Minimum 6 months to 2 years of manufacturing/industrial experience. · Willingness to be trained and certified in forklift operations.
