About The RoleThis position requires the successful candidate to work on a W2 directly with FDM. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 12 Months but may be extended.This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.About YouSenior Java Developer – AI & Finastra (Summit / Kondor)Location: Jacksonville, FL; Cary, NC; New York, NYOverviewA leading global financial services organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with a strong background in AI-driven development and deep expertise in Finastra platforms (Summit and/or Kondor). This role will support key enterprise initiatives focused on innovation, modernization, and platform integration.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java (Spring Boot / microservices architecture)Integrate and enhance Finastra Summit and/or Kondor platforms within a broader financial systems landscapeApply AI/ML technologies to improve automation, analytics, and operational efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams including product, architecture, and business stakeholdersContribute to system design, code reviews, and technical strategy discussionsInvestigate and resolve complex production issues across distributed environmentsSupport modernization efforts, including cloud adoption and intelligent enablement of legacy systemsRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in enterprise Java development (Spring Boot preferred)Hands-on experience with Finastra Summit and/or KondorExposure to or experience with AI/ML technologies (e.g., predictive analytics, NLP, automation tools, AI frameworks)Strong understanding of financial services or banking systemsExperience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecturesFamiliarity with modern DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization, etc.)Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working in fast-paced environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Familiarity with data engineering workflows or AI model integrationExperience in large-scale enterprise or capital markets environmentsUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum methodologiesAbout UsAbout FDMFDM powers the people behind tech and innovation.
