As a Framer, you will be reading blueprints or building plans and constructing the framework specified using a variety of tools and materials. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site, maintaining the tools and equipment you use every day, and following standard safety protocols. The ideal candidate has experience in construction, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.ResponsibilitiesExamine, read, and interpret blueprints and building plans to ensure all dimensions are accurate and the proper building materials are being usedAbility to safely operate construction tools like nail guns, routers, saws, and laddersConstruct framework including walls, doorframes, and floorsUtilize tools such as rigging hardware and cranes to put up the necessary framingClean and maintain tools, work site, and equipment to keep a clean and safe job siteQualificationsThe ability to work well in a team environmentThe ability to read and understand blueprints or building plansPrevious experience as a framer or in a similar construction position desiredThe ability to work on your feet and regularly lift heavy or awkward objectsStrong attention to detail
