Tension Envelope CorporationBINDERY MACHINE OPERATORDepartment: ProductionReports To: Production ManagerFLSA Status: Non-ExemptSummaryBindery Machine Operator is responsible for operating folder/cutter equipment, maintaining quality standards, trouble-shooting equipment issues, and upholding production requirements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other Duties May Be Assigned.Ability to work well with co-workers in team environment.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Examine job tickets to determine job specific instructions.Perform job set ups on MBO folding equipment; roll unwinder or sheet fedAbility to setup/operate counter, glue systems and job specific folds.Possess mechanical and trouble shooting skills.Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.Straight Knife Cutter operatorOvertime may be required.Must be physically capable of working long hours, standing, and/or walking.Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.Qualifications / Education/ExperienceMechanical skills to set up and operator MBO Folding Equipment (Roll to fold)Basic Math Skills, including ability to read a ruler.High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of bindery experience.
