Job Title: Director of Industrial Cybersecurity (GTM & Strategy)Salary: $180,000 – $230,000 base + bonusLocation: Houston, TX or Chicago, IL (Hybrid)Industry: OT CybersecurityAbout the companyEdison Smart are partnered with a high-growth OT cybersecurity vendor backed by leading venture capital firms, currently scaling their US operations following strong traction across energy, utilities, and manufacturing sectors.With a proven product-market fit in Europe and early success in North America, the business is now entering a critical growth phase. They are looking to hire a senior commercial leader to take ownership of their industrial cybersecurity go-to-market strategy in the US.This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the founding team, define regional strategy, and build out a high-performing commercial function from the ground up.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and execute the US go-to-market strategy for OT cybersecurity solutionsBuild and scale a regional team across sales, pre-sales, and partnershipsDevelop strategic relationships with enterprise clients across energy, utilities, and industrial sectorsWork closely with founders and executive leadership on growth strategy and market positioningDrive new logo acquisition while shaping long-term account expansion strategyInfluence product direction through direct market feedback and customer engagementEstablish partnerships with system integrators, consultancies, and channel partnersTake full ownership of regional revenue targets and hiring plansKey Requirements8+ years experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on OT / ICS environmentsProven track record in a commercial leadership role (sales, GTM, or business development)Experience building or scaling teams in high-growth environmentsStrong network within industrial sectors (energy, utilities, manufacturing)Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in early-stage growthExperience working in startup or scale-up environments is highly desirableStrong stakeholder management experience, including working with C-level executives
