Delivery DriverThis position is responsible for merchandise handling such as loading, securing, delivering, setting up, troubleshooting, and demonstrating. Reviewing lease agreements is also occasionally required.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Acquisition and Maintenance of CustomersVerify correct product and accessories for delivery or returnEnsure that all merchandise is clean and in operating condition prior to deliveryReview necessary information sheetsLoad, secure and protect product in delivery vehicleOffload, install and demonstrate merchandiseEnsure that delivery schedule is followedDeliver merchandise to customers' homes and businesses-without additional damageAssist with merchandise returns-load and service product in vehiclePerform routine service calls and product exchangesClean and certify merchandise in the Certification Zone for all items personally returnedMaintaining the store's warehouse in a neat and orderly mannerAssist in maintaining the showroom floor as per company guidelinesSafely operate delivery vehicleDocument all vehicle movement on daily route sheetsConduct daily inspection of assigned delivery vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance guidelines are metConfirm customer identification, collect money and obtain customers' signature on lease agreementsAssist in field marketing programs as requested by store managementOther tasks as assigned by managementPosition requires Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and "dollying" merchandise 50-300 poundsNeatly groomed appearanceGood communication skillsStrong technical skills or working knowledge of electronic productsGood driving skillsPre-employment Drug ScreenSatisfactory MVR (driving record), D.O.T. physical and drug screen, criminal background investigation with job performance reference check and required testing
