Health Center AssistantRate: $420.00 to $450.00 WeeklyDepartment: Health CenterStatus: Exempt, Seasonal Full timeReports To: Health Center Supervisor/Program DirectorSummer Season is May 31st to August 9th with the potential to stay after summer season at an hourly rate.Looking to fill three positionsEssential FunctionsImplementation of Thousand Pines Health Care PlanFacilitate operations related to Thousand Pines Emergency ResponseProvide support for Thousand Pines Programs in regard to the implementation of:Camper Safety and Emergency ResponseHealth and cleanliness standardsOrderly collection and distribution of camper medications for applicable programsAdditional FunctionsUpdates, and/or monitors health care plan and maintains appropriate recordsDaily tracks TP healthcare inventory and maintains necessary suppliesAssists other TP staff involved in health careAssists TP in any other areas as neededMajor Competency AreasExcellent critical thinking, organizational, and team support skillsAbility to provide patient care with excellence and compassionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCompetent in basic computer skillsQualificationsLicensed in California as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Physician's Assistant or Medical DoctorExperience reading prescriptions and deciphering doctors ordersCurrent Red Cross CPR and First Aid CertificationsExperience with children and young adults in a first aid emergency capacityFull agreement with TP mission, vision, and valuesValid driver's licensePhysical DemandsAbilities sufficient to carry out the essential functions of the jobMust be able to lift minimum of 50 lbsThank you for your interest in Thousand Pines Christian Camp and Conference Center!Thousand Pines is a 240 acre site located in the beautiful San Bernardino national Forest at an elevation of 5,000 feet.
