Job DescriptionJob Title: Powder Coat Machine OperatorLocation: Fife, WACompany: Milgard Windows & DoorsSchedule: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AMPay Rate: $23–$28/hour (DOE) + $2/hr shift differentialJob SummaryThe Powder Coat Machine Operator is responsible for operating powder coating equipment to apply finishes to pultruded fiberglass/composite products. This role ensures proper application, curing, and overall quality while meeting safety, production, and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and adjust powder coating machines and spray systemsLoad, unload, and properly position pultruded parts on racks or conveyorsApply powder coatings according to work instructions and specificationsMonitor and control curing ovens, temperatures, and line speedsInspect coated products for coverage, thickness, color consistency, and defectsPerform routine cleaning, minor adjustments, and basic machine maintenanceAccurately document production and quality data as requiredAdhere to all safety procedures, including PPE and material handling guidelinesMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient work areaQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredPrevious manufacturing or powder coating experience preferredAbility to read work orders and follow standard operating proceduresStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hot, industrial environmentWhat We OfferOur benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness for you and your eligible spouse/dependents.
