Responsibilities may include: engaging with EMC and cross-functional teams to specify, design and develop robotic automation systems, supporting existing tools and integrating into Apple infrastructureKey BenefitsVarious teams within EMC/PACE could leverage advanced measurement and product testing automation robotic systems and increase productivityIn Scope Coordinate with teams on streamlining the EMC measurement and testing process through utilization of advanced automated robotic systemsCollaborate with EMC and cross-functional teams to specify and develop custom robotic automation, data collection and data processing systemsDevelop and maintain in-house software tools for different Apple productsDevelop scripts to automate failure detection and data collectionDeploy and maintain robotic systems to Apple facilitiesSuccess Criteria/Definition of Done Completion of EMC validation for all requests related to supported projects in robotic automationTechnical Requirements5+ years of experience in software development, specifically with robotics-related projectsExperience in software design and complex algorithms implementation is requiredStrong C++ and Python background is requiredProficiency with ROS framework and industrial robotic systems (Universal Robots urscript)Familiarity with mobile robotic systemsFamiliarity with CAD design and corresponding software toolsFamiliarity with rapid prototyping and 3D printing is a plusAbility to navigate through ambiguity and break down complex problems into simplified and manageable partsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsMust be highly motivated and must have excellent organizational skills
