Medical Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and patient-focused Clinic Medical Assistant (MA) to support our providers in delivering high-quality outpatient care across all ages and a wide variety of medical conditions. Key Responsibilities: Assists providers with exams, procedures, and minor surgeries Prepares treatment rooms and ensures supplies and instruments are available Obtains and documents patient vital signs and health histories Schedules appointments, diagnostic testing, and specialty consultations Answers and returns patient phone calls in a timely and professional manner Performs lab-related duties and communicates test results as directed Administers medications as ordered by the provider and within licensure scope Perform clinical testing and procedures, including EKGs, blood draws, glucose testing, spirometry, hearing screenings, nebulizer treatments, urinalysis, and rapid testing Assists with insurance, disability, prescription, and L&I paperwork Maintains medical equipment and clinic supplies Cleans and disinfects exam rooms and instruments after patient visits Supports accurate chart completion and coding processes Position Highlights: Monday - Thursday, 7am - 5pm, 36 hours per week. Requirements Ideal Candidate: Holds an active Washington state Medical Assistant certification credential High school graduate or equivalent Has or is willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications Willingness to complete required trainings Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused Works well in a team and takes initiative in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in a clinic setting preferred Bilingual, English / Spanish preferred
