Board Member

As the leadership body of Coastlove, the board is responsible for: Strategic and organizational planning Ensuring strong oversight and financial management Fundraising and resource development Monitor and add value to Coastlove programs and services Enhancing Coastlove's mission and introducing the organization to a broader public. EXPECTATIONS OF INDIVIDUAL BOARD MEMBERS: Each board member is expected to: Know the organization’s mission, policies, programs, and needs Serve as active ambassadors for the organization and engage in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for Coastlove to advance its mission Leverage connections, networks, and resources to develop action to achieve Coastlove's mission Assist in building committees such as fundraising and leadership Fundraising Help identify personal connections that can benefit the organization’s fundraising and reputational standing and can influence change Prepare for, attend, and take notes in board meetings Assist in managing annual reviews and reporting
