Python Developer

We’re seeking to connect a Senior Python Applications Developer with a leading organization in the public sector on a contract basis. The role is hybrid and located in Tucker, GA. As a Senior Python Applications Developer, you will have the opportunity to join a collaborative, motivated team and leverage your expertise in Python application development, troubleshooting, and system enhancement.-C2C candidates will not be considered. -Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship-3-4 month projectKey Responsibilities:Collaborate closely with technical stakeholders to enhance and maintain internally developed applicationsImplement new application features and support ongoing system improvementsTroubleshoot and resolve production issues through root cause analysis and break/fix supportReverse-engineer undocumented functionality and improve overall system stabilityCommunicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersSupport documentation efforts and contribute to improving code quality and maintainabilityQualifications:Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in Python application developmentProficient in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPIExperience working with APIs, relational databases, and cloud environmentsStrong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in environments with limited documentationExperience supporting and enhancing legacy applications preferred
