Summary Of Job FunctionsUnder the general direction of the Manager of DC Operations, the DC Shipping & Receiving Coordinator I is responsible for supporting the efficient and accurate receipt, processing, inventory management, staging, packing, and shipment of equipment, technology assets, and materials supporting repair, logistics, field services, and asset lifecycle operations within the Distribution Center. This role supports inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including repair processing, order fulfillment, inventory tracking, and coordination with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate turnaround of customer orders and operational activities.This position may require cross-training in other inter-departmental activities within the Distribution Center to support operational flexibility and efficiency.SCHEDULE & WORK HOURSThis position is typically scheduled to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a 60-minute unpaid lunch break. Work schedules and hours may vary based on business and operational needs.Team members may be expected to work additional hours, overtime, weekends, adjusted schedules, or alternative shifts as necessary to support customer requirements, operational demands, inventory activities, project deadlines, or other business needs.Key Responsibilities And DutiesIdentify and prioritize Repair RMAs based on customer requirements and urgency.Perform initial inventory assessments and inspections of incoming equipment and materials.Process receipts for products designated for repair, inventory, or operational use, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Create and maintain work orders for repair tracking, inventory management, and costing purposes.Collaborate with the Production Controller and other internal teams to support efficient scheduling and workflow coordination.Ensure accurate picking, packing, labeling, and shipment of products, equipment, and materials.Utilize appropriate packaging materials to ensure product integrity during transit.Maintain accurate records within Microsoft AX ERP and WMS systems, including shipping logs, inventory updates, and processing documentation.Efficiently palletize materials and manage both small parcel and freight shipments.Coordinate with transportation and supply vendors to facilitate timely delivery operations.Audit received, repaired, and shipped equipment for accuracy and proper documentation.Support warehouse organization, cleanliness, waste/recycling initiatives, and general maintenance activities. Support additional operational activities across multiple business units, including repair operations, equipment sales, field services, logistics support, and Asset Lifecycle Management programs.Crosstrain in other inter-departmental Distribution Center functions as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.KEY COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Proficiency of Acquired Skills, Aptitude, CapabilityPrior shipping and/or receiving experience preferred with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.Experience using Microsoft AX ERP and/or WMS systems preferred.Knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and warehouse processes preferred.Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records.Comfortable using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.Preferred experience operating warehouse equipment, including stand-up reach and/or sit-down forklifts, with the ability to obtain forklift certification if required.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, Education, Certifications, SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent2+ years minimum previous relative warehouse experiencePrevious shipping and/or receiving experience preferredPrevious stand-up reach forklift experience preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPossess analytical and problem-solving skillsPossess a demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work effectively individually and as part of a teamExcellent time-management skillsPHYSICAL DEMANDS – WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
