Head of Property Management

Position Summary:Cochran Booth & Co., owner-operator of a growing portfolio of manufactured housing communities across Michigan and the Midwest, is seeking a Head of Property Management to oversee the full scope of property operations across the portfolio.This individual will be responsible for property management, leasing, home sales, tenant relations, and financial reporting to leadership. The role will oversee on-site management teams and be directly responsible for the financial success of individual communities. The position will also play a key role in building and scaling a high-performing property management team to support a rapidly expanding portfolio of manufactured housing community assets.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day operations across all communities within the portfolioManage and support on-site property managers and staffOversee leasing, home sales, occupancy, and collectionsHandle escalated tenant matters and ensure strong tenant relations across communitiesMonitor and drive financial performance at the property levelReview budgets, collections, and operating results and report to leadershipIdentify and implement operational improvements to increase NOI and efficiencyEstablish and refine property management systems, processes, and standardsRecruit, train, and build a scalable property management team as the portfolio growsEnsure properties operate in compliance with applicable regulations and company standardsQualifications:3–5+ years of property management experience requiredExperience overseeing multiple properties preferredManufactured housing community experience a strong plusStrong leadership and team management skillsFinancial and operational acumen with the ability to manage property-level performanceExcellent communication and tenant-relations skillsHighly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing environmentCompensation:$75,000–$100,000 salary range, plus bonus potential based on experience and performance.
