Walton - 1st Shift Material Handler

POSITION SUMMARY:The material handler is responsible for pulling and staging the required materials to complete a specific job.FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONAssures all received goods and products are properly received, tagged, and stored for ready access.Physically pull, stage, & label materials with correct job information.Performs forklift duties to include verifying materials, quantities, and delivering products to specified locations.Other duties may include, but are not limited to, assisting with pulling internal job orders, weekly and quarterly inventory cycle counts, loading & unloading, stocking shelves, organizing stockroom and OEM parts.Move required materials to production area. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds and be able to stand for several hours at a time.Performs forklift & crane duties of loading, unloading, & moving product.Communicates with various departments when items are delivered.Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. This is a fast-paced environment where demands change from hour to hour. Must have a can do, positive attitude and have the ability to thrive working in a fast-paced teamenvironment.QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to operate a forklift; crane experience desirable but not required.
