This position offers an excellent career development opportunity for someone looking to grow with Singhofen Halff, with potential for not only business and personal growth, but ownership in the firm.Learn about Singhofen Halff and our 75th AnniversaryWhat you will do:Work under a Water Resources Team Leader in the development of Water Resources design projects for the FDOT, FEMA, Water Management Districts, FDEP, and local municipalities.Perform flood risk education and planning, flood infrastructure planning, and design for private and public stormwater infrastructure.Oversee and manage multiple Water Resources projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.Work closely with the other design staff, consultants, and clients to deliver projects that contribute to the growth and safety of Florida communities.Assist in managing the workload of design staff including other Engineers, EIT's, and technical staff.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.Monitor project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and identify opportunities to optimize project efficiency and profitability.Assist in development and management of project scopes, budgets, and schedules.Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize any adverse impacts on project outcomes.Review water resources designs and detailed plans for accuracy and consistency.What you will need:Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering DegreeMust have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Water Resources project deliveryCivil Engineering Project Management experience in the Water Resources industry requiredProfessional Engineering (PE) License in the state of FloridaTechnical experience with ICPR4 (Stormwise) and ArcGISRequires technical experience and/or familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, water resources planning, and design for private and public stormwater infrastructureProficient in project management, administration, and supervision of technical staffProven track record of successfully leading projects from inception to completionRobust written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in teams and multi-taskProven business development experiencePositive attitude, self-directed yet a team player, with a focus on quality, integrity and success.Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 20 poundsMust be able to travel to various project sitesMust be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areasThe Singhofen Halff Water Resources AdvantageWater Resources has been a Singhofen Halff core service since 1950.Singhofen Halff provides integrated solutions through interdisciplinary services.Water Resources implements GIS-applied technologies (mobile GIS and asset management).Singhofen Halff has conducted formal technical training programs for more than 30 years.Learn more about Singhofen Halff's Water Resources services, check out some of our projects, and meet our teamSinghofen Halff's Water Resources Services:Flood Control Planning and DesignFloodplain Management, Studies and MappingCoastal Engineering and PlanningStream Restoration Planning and DesignStormwater Planning, Criteria and RegulationTraining Development and DeliveryWater Quality Planning and DesignCompany Overview:Singhofen Halff is a full-service infrastructure consulting firm planned, designed, engineered, constructed - and purposed - for people.
