The role focuses on both on- and off-premise accounts, including restaurants, wine bars, hotels, clubs, and independent retailers.Key responsibilitiesManage and grow a defined sales territoryBuild and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular visits, phone calls, emails and other means of communicationDeliver engaging wine presentations and excellent customer serviceExpand product distribution and develop key accountsIdentify and close new business opportunitiesParticipate in tastings, trade shows, seminars, and eventsConsistently achieve monthly and annual sales targetsSkills and qualificationsBased in the Chicago areaMinimum 5 years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in the wine industryStrong knowledge of Italian winesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWSET certification preferredItalian language is a plusPositive attitude with strong follow-up and customer service skillsSelf-starter with energy, discipline, and accountabilityPosition RequirementsAvailability to attend, individual and team meetings and other sales related event at Northbrook, IL our warehouse and headquarterAbility to work evenings and weekends when necessaryMust have a valid Illinois driver’s license, insurance, a reliable vehicle and a good record,Please note a Background check and driving record shall be requestedBasic Microsoft Office SkillsAbility to lift packages up to 50 poundsApply or message directly to learn more.
