Summary:Meta is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Lead to join our Data Center Facility Operations team. Our data centers serve as the foundation upon which our suite of products operates to meet the demands of our customers. The EHS Lead will work with the global EHS team and local data center site management to develop and proven experience acting as a thought leader in the area of EHS program to keep all data center employees and all Meta partners safe while working at our facilities and ensure compliance with our EHS standards.Required Skills:Environmental, Health & Safety Lead Responsibilities:Deliver and track all necessary health and safety training for onsite employees and contingent workers and maintain accurate training recordsIdentify and ensure compliance with all local, state, federal and company health, safety and environmental policies, including tracking all necessary records and documentationProvide functional direction to contracted servicesEstablish and grow positive cross-functional relationships with all site teams to gain alignment on strategic prioritiesPartner with vendors to uphold EHS requirements on siteAssist in the development and implementation of organization wide EHS standards and guidelinesDevelop site-based plans for the implementation and on-going management of global EHS standardsBuild and maintain a site safety posture that engages and involves site leadership and site team members to be active participantsManage activities to support day-to-day EHS operations and partner with relevant EHS professionals involved in construction activities to ensure alignment and segregation of responsibilities, as appropriateActively support in incident investigations, root cause analyses and injury case managementMaintain operational safety programs for the team (electrical glove exchange, fall protection inspections etc.)Review site work procedures to assign risk levels and review risk mitigation plansParticipate in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and make health, safety and environmental recommendations accordinglyMinimum Qualifications:7+ years' experience working in the Environmental, Health and Safety fieldBS degree in safety or health sciences, or related discipline and 3+ years' experience working in the Environmental, Health and Safety field in lieu of 7+ years' experience working in the Environmental, Health and Safety fieldExperience in program development, management, and executionExperience in leading or managing incident investigation and mitigationPreferred Qualifications:10+ years' experience working in the Environmental, Health and Safety fieldExperience working in a mission critical environmentExperience with NFPA 70E, management of federal regulations and/or environmental permitting processesEHS certifications from Board of Certified Safety Professional (BCSP) or equivalent international agencyExperience or understanding of procedure-based workPublic Compensation:$118,000/year to $170,000/year + bonus + equity + benefitsIndustry:InternetEqual Opportunity:Meta is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Aff…Meta participates in the E-Verify program in certain locations, as required by law.
