Senior Data Scientist (ModelOps / ML Monitoring)📍 San Antonio, TX💰 $100,000 - $140,000 + Benefits + Bonus🏦 Insurance / Financial Services🕒 Full-time W2 | 7+ Years ExperienceA major enterprise financial services organisation is looking to hire a Senior Data Scientist to support ModelOps and ML Monitoring initiatives within their Insurance Data Science team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, and Production Analytics.You will work closely with Data Scientists and AI/ML Engineers to develop, monitor, optimise, and operationalise machine learning models in a large-scale enterprise environment.🔹 Key Responsibilities• Build and enhance model monitoring capabilities• Develop prototype data assets, dashboards, and monitoring solutions• Refactor and productionise Data Science code into scalable maintainable solutions• Optimise SQL queries and create ground-truth datasets for monitoring activities• Collaborate with AI/ML Engineers and Data Scientists across the ML lifecycle• Conduct testing, validation, and quality assurance across monitoring pipelines• Interpret model monitoring outputs and identify performance issues• Support ModelOps improvements across the wider Data Science function🔹 Required Experience• Strong Python programming experience• Advanced SQL development and optimisation skills• Experience with statistical modelling and machine learning workflows• Understanding of model monitoring, model drift, and production ML environments• Experience working with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch• Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and data analysis• Experience working in enterprise Data Science or ML Engineering environments🔹 Nice to Have• ModelOps / MLOps experience• Insurance or Financial Services industry background• Experience with Domino, MLflow, Databricks, Airflow, or similar platforms• Dashboarding and data visualisation experienceThis role would suit candidates currently working as a:Data Scientist | ML Engineer | MLOps Engineer | Analytics Engineer | AI/ML Engineer | Applied ScientistIf you have this experience, apply now.
