Teach safe driving habits and adapt to each student’s learning pace. Communicate clearly with students and parents. Use the DRIVEx app to manage lessons, scheduling, and communication. Represent DRIVEx with professionalism, dependability, and care. What You Bring A valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of licensed driving experience. A reliable, insured, and registered vehicle in good condition. A clean driving record preferred. Professional, dependable, and patient character. Instructor certification if required in your state (DRIVEx will guide you through this process if needed). Ability to pass a basic background check. How Payments Work Students pay securely through the DRIVEx platform. Instructors receive $30 for each one-hour lesson. Weekly payouts via direct deposit, Zelle, or other approved methods. No cash handling, no side apps, no chasing payments. Independent Contractor Role (1099) This is not a W-2 position. You are self-employed and set your own schedule. You are responsible for your own taxes and expenses. DRIVEx supplies the students, bookings, and payment system — you stay in control of your time and income.
