LicensureOverviewLeave placeholder text here for recruiter to inputResponsibilitiesManage and lead mechanical design projects supporting power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems across various facilities including healthcare, higher education, municipal, and industrial sites.Produce detailed design and construction drawings and specifications utilizing REVIT and AutoCAD software, acting as the Lead Mechanical Engineer and Engineer of Record.Evaluate mechanical equipment and systems, prepare design computations, and conduct assessments to ensure optimal functionality and compliance.Observe construction progress onsite, generate field observation reports, and assess existing mechanical systems within facilities.Coordinate project reports, design efforts, and communications with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.Assist in mentoring subordinate staff in best practices for mechanical design and project execution.Stay current with local, state, & federal design standards and regulations.Develop new business opportunities and expand client relationships within healthcare, higher education, and government sectors. Requirements Currently residing in the Tampa Bay/Clearwater Area with Florida-based project experienceCurrent Florida Professional Engineer (PE) licensureBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university8-15 years of applicable experience on similar facilitiesProficiency in Autodesk REVIT and AutoCAD softwareStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam applicationsIn-depth understanding of ASHRAE StandardsAbility to work in person at least three days weekly in Clearwater officeValid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal recordWillingness to travel throughout Florida for client meetings and project site visitsExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills with a focus on precision and accuracySystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
