Manual Machine Operator (Quick Action)

Overview & ResponsibilitiesThe Big PictureWhen Service or Apparatus needs parts fast, they come to you. Set up and operate a variety of machines to provide rapid machining support across our entire operation. If you thrive on variety and problem-solving, this role is built for you.What You'll DoWork from drawings, sketches, work orders, and verbal instructionsSet up machines (tools, stops, feeds, speeds) and position partsPerform turning, boring, milling, drilling, tapping, sawing, grinding, and moreOperate CNC wire EDM, vertical/horizontal mills, and lathesCheck parts with measuring devices; stamp identification on componentsClean, deburr, lap, polish, assemble, and disassemble partsCreate or modify fixtures, tools, balance arbors, and drive adaptorsGrind tools from blanks; sharpen and modify tooling as neededReverse engineer parts and create drawings for manufacturingInspect rework parts, gather data, and advise engineering on fixing out-of-tolerance dimensionsPlot locations using conversational and CNC controls on lathes and millsDismantle, repair, and reassemble production equipment where possibleUse jib hoist, pendant crane, and riding work saverMaintain a clean, safe, organized workspace; follow all safety rulesQualificationsMust be able and willing to work all shifts (shifts not guaranteed)Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidaysPrior manufacturing experience strongly preferredJob-specific and divisional testing requiredEqual Employment OpportunityEbara Elliott Energy is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by the federal, state or local laws of the United States.
