Here, you'll find opportunities for growth, a supportive team, and the resources you need to succeed.Essential ResponsibilitiesDirect daily laboratory operations, including staff scheduling and resource allocationMonitor workload across functional areas to maintain productivityImplement and maintain quality control standardsCollaborate with physicians, laboratory staff, and Medical Director on patient careManage laboratory information systemsOversee equipment maintenance and calibrationLead staff recruitment, training, and developmentEnsure regulatory compliance and participate in quality assurance programsManage inventory and suppliesCoordinate with pathologists on compliance and documentationOversee proficiency testing and performance reviewsParticipate in laboratory, hospital, quality, and pathology meetingsRequired QualificationsBachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, or BiologyMinimum two years of management, supervisor, or team lead experienceASCP/AMT certification preferredKnowledge of laboratory regulatory requirements and compliance standardsUnderstanding of infection control and laboratory safety protocolsStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsExperience with laboratory information systemsProven track record in team leadership and project managementNormal color vision required (ability to distinguish faint lines and color variations)Perks and Benefits:Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance .401(k) with matching contributions.Life insurance and paid time off.Supportive and growth-oriented work environment.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift/move up to 25 pounds frequently, occasionally up to 100 poundsClose visual acuity for data analysis, computer work, and distinguishing faint linesRegular standing and manual dexterity for laboratory workAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentOccasional exposure to bloodborne pathogensWork EnvironmentPosition operates in a clinical laboratory setting with exposure to standard laboratory conditions and hazards.
