Java Developer with PythonCharlotte, NC – HybridContract- W2Role SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Java Developer with Python experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and automation components. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, working knowledge of Python, and experience building reliable, testable, and high-performance software solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Java and Python.Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in development and production environments.Create and maintain unit, integration, and regression test cases.Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and agile ceremonies.Develop automation scripts or utility tools using Python where required.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience in Java backend development.Good working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or backend support.Experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, and design patterns.Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and JSON/XML.Knowledge of SQL databases and basic query optimization.Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and unit testing frameworks.Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with Django or Flask.Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS.Knowledge of Kafka or messaging systems.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery.Experience in banking, finance, or enterprise systems is an advantage.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field7+ years of experience in software development, with strong Java and Python exposure.Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
