Join a 100% employee-owned firm built for long-term thinking, shared success, and meaningful impact.Why Psomas:Shared Success: An ownership culture that rewards long-term thinking and doing what's right.Retirement Benefits: Company-funded ESOP + 401(k) with immediate match.Hybrid Flexibility: Flexible and hybrid work schedules.Career Growth: Clear pathways, coaching, and professional development opportunities.People-First Culture: Collaborative teams that value employee input and leadership support.Meaningful Work: Large-scale infrastructure projects that help shape communities throughout Utah.What You'll Do:As our Land Survey Project Manager, you will lead survey and mapping projects from initiation through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget expectations are met while supporting team development and business growth initiatives.Project Management & Oversight: Provide project management, technical oversight, strategic direction, and leadership across survey and mapping projects while meeting performance and profitability goals.Business Development & Client Engagement: Prepare scopes of work, budgets, fee proposals, and contracts; support presentations, proposals, and responses to RFPs/RFQs; and help develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout the Utah market.Technical Leadership: Apply your expertise in land surveying and mapping to support surveyors, CAD drafters, and subconsultants while utilizing conventional survey methods, GPS, and LiDAR scanning technologies.Team Leadership & Mentorship: Support recruiting, retention, interviewing, and team development while contributing to a collaborative leadership environment.Project Coordination & Communication: Lead coordination efforts and ensure successful communication between clients, project teams, and stakeholders throughout project delivery.Required Qualifications:Land Surveyor-In-Training Certification (LSIT)5+ years of project management experience in land surveyingStrong understanding of Utah survey practices and regulationsExperience with modern survey equipment and softwareProven track record of successful project deliveryProficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Trimble Business Center (TBC)Desire to develop and maintain industry client relationships within the Utah marketFamiliarity with state and county mapping requirementsExperience preparing subdivision maps, parcel maps, records of survey, legal descriptions, and exhibitsPreferred Qualifications:Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in UtahKnowledge of UDOT mapping requirementsExperience with MicroStation and InRoadsCompensation & Benefits:Salary: $100,000-$150,000 annually (commensurate with experience; compensation may be adjusted for highly qualified candidates)Time Off: 3-4 weeks PTO (depending on experience) plus 8 paid holidaysTechnology: State-of-the-art survey equipment and innovative technology toolsTotal Rewards: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and qualifying family members, along with employee ownership and retirement benefits.Our Hiring Approach:Our recruiting team reviews every application personally and will keep candidates informed throughout the process.
