Controller – Infrastructure & Data CentersLocation: Remote (New York or Dallas preferred)Compensation: $240,000–$275,000 base + 30% bonus + equityExperience: 8–10+ yearsAbout the OpportunityWe are partnering with a high-growth infrastructure platform that is seeking an experienced Controller to build and lead its accounting function as the company continues to scale.This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys building from the ground up. The Controller will take ownership of day-to-day accounting, internal controls, consolidations, and financial infrastructure across multiple legal entities while helping implement the systems and processes needed to support future growth and institutional capital.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily accounting operations across multiple legal entitiesEstablish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting processesLead financial consolidations and reportingManage accounting for complex capital and infrastructure development projectsOversee fixed assets, depreciation, and utility-related accountingHelp evaluate and implement new accounting systems, with a likely transition to NetSuiteBuild scalable accounting processes to support continued company growthPrepare the accounting function for future institutional capital and reporting requirementsHelp build the accounting team, including eventually managing a junior accountantQualifications8–10+ years of relevant accounting and finance experienceSignificant Controller-level or comparable accounting leadership experienceExperience within data centers, real estate, infrastructure development, or complex capital projects strongly preferredStrong understanding of fixed assets, depreciation, consolidations, and capital project accountingExperience developing accounting processes and internal controlsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-growing, build-from-scratch environmentCPA preferred, but not required for candidates with extensive Controller experienceExperience with NetSuite or accounting-system implementations is a plusIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting leader with a builder mentality.
