Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
OverviewThe mission of Norris, Inc. is Transforming lives through the power of connection and healing. Norris is seeking its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guide us long into a bright future. The CFO will define the process and implement the infrastructure and systems needed to support current fiscal practices and organizational growth. The CFO is responsible for directing the fiscal functions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board and other regulatory and advisory organizations, and in line with financial management practices appropriate for the nonprofit sector.The CFO will manage effective and streamlined administrative/financial systems, including financial, accounting, legal, and payroll. They will contribute technical expertise, serve as a strategic thinker, forecast trends, and communicate relevant insights. The CFO directly supervises the Director of Technology & Facilities and the Business Services team. As a member of the executive team, the CFO will be involved in strategic planning, evaluation, professional development initiatives, and Norris growth initiatives. All functions and services provided by the CFO will promote Norris mission and philosophy with a trauma-informed care approach. The CFO will ensure sensitivity to the ethnic and cultural diversity of youth, families, and employees while effectively communicating and promoting Norris goals, policies, and procedures.
