Warehouse Laborer

Job Description Warehouse Laborer is responsible for general duties involving physical assembly of product and handling of materials, supplies, and manufacturing equipment. The Warehouse Laborer must maintain an orderly and clean work area in compliance with ILS Products’ safety requirements and procedures.Hours: Monday-Friday 8 hours per dayOrganizational Relationships:The Warehouse Laborer reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager.Essential Functions:Read and interpret work orders & pick ticketsOperate manufacturing equipment such as cutting saw, threading machines, polishing machines, deburrers and shotblasters to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other material from surfaces of metal parts, castings and other metal productsCut, grind, or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.Periodic bending, kneeling, lifting of 50+ pounds and climbing.Assist Manufacturing Manager with the operation of additional machinesSafely transport raw materials and finished products manually or using forklift or other devicesManually assemble parts into finished units; bag and stack as requiredOrganize outgoing freight as requiredSecure goods to be shipped; affix identifying information and shipping instructionsOversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents; record shortages and reject damaged goodsUnpack, code, and route goods to appropriate storage areasMaintain internal manual record-keeping systemsOperate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goodsAssist in conducting inventory countsPrepare and submit daily and weekly paperwork as requiredDesign and implement work methods and procedures to increase productivity and improve serviceEnsures uniform execution of policies and proceduresEmployment RequirementsHigh School Diploma Preferred0-1 year of general work experiencePrior warehouse/production/equipment service experience preferredAbility to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift productDemonstrated attention to detailForklift certification is a plusCompany DescriptionILS Products is a pioneering company in the safety lowering light pole market for off shore oil and gas applications.We also solved the problem for farmers, ranchers and equine enthusiast to be able to get light where they need it with our all inclusive Ranch Hand Solar Lighting Systems.With room to grow within our company we are flexible and care about our employees.Company DescriptionILS Products is a pioneering company in the safety lowering light pole market for off shore oil and gas applications.
