Material Inventory SpecialistSAN DIEGO, CA Immediately Temporary/ContractDescriptionMove Forward with Volt!Volt is immediately hiring multiple Material Inventory Specialists in San Diego, CA.As a Material Inventory Specialist, you will:Pick and packSort and stage inventory in warehouseExceed production and safety standardsInspect orders/product and load trucks for shipmentUnload trucks, receive and locate inventory in warehouseScan/label inventory using RF scanner, build pallets for shippingMaintain/Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucksPerform general labor as needed, moving product throughout warehousePick product from inventory, complete customer orders, stage product for loadingOperate forkliftsSome roles require that you drive a box truck around facility at timesThis is a long term temp, possible temp to hire role.Schedule: This is 2nd shift with the ability to train on first shift for 30 90 days. Training hours are Monday Friday 5am 1:30pm plus overtime but you would then move to 2nd shift which is 2pm 10:30pm plus overtime.The ideal candidate will have:6 months or more of warehouse experienceForklift experience preferredMust be able to stand for long periods of time and consistently lift 40-50 poundsCandidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements (drug test, background check and clean DMV record)Pay Rate: $22.75-$25.00 Per Hour DOE*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
