Renovated property with large outdoor space ABOUT APLC: Adaptive Path Learning Collective is a preschool-based program that provides ABA, speech therapy, and occupational therapy in a collaborative and fun environment! APLC is therapist owned and operated. We employ a variety of professionals who are experts across all areas of childhood development to deliver the most comprehensive care available. We are a new way to ABA. POSITION: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. Behavior technicians at APLC will support preschoolers with developmental disabilities through a typical preschool day. This role is in-person at our NEW property in Leander, TX. No lesson-planning, no craft-planning- just be a fun, supportive RBT! What you will be doing: - Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA - Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to preschool aged children with developmental disabilities such as autism - Collect data on client behaviors and skill acquisition goals - Utilize structured, play-based activities to create meaningful learning opportunities throughout the child's day - Promote independence, communication, regulation, and social skills through the use of evidence-based strategies - Write and submit accurate and timely session notes *For those earning BCBA fieldwork hours- opportunity to assist BCBAs with conducting assessments, writing treatment plans, updating goals, parent trainings, and more. Skills/Qualifications: - RBT Certification preferred, but not required - Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities - Enthusiastic about working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team - Strong organizational skills, familiarity with writing session notes and collecting data - Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, families, and colleagues - Understanding of the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) APLC opened January 2025! Hours are flexible within our school hours (Monday-Friday 8-3:00PM). Salaried employees will work ~35 hours a week.
