This role is a full-stack position which will allow the successful candidate to leverage their experience in designing and implementing Oracle-centered database applications in an Amazon Web Services (or similar) cloud computing environment.The successful candidate will bring a highly engaged inquisitive and consulting approach, outstanding application development skills and instincts along with a passion for delivering innovative products and services to help improve the experience of our business users through your contributions to the teams delivery goals.The Expertise and Skills You Bring5+ years of experience in database design, development, and performance optimization as a Senior Database Engineer, with at least 3 years experience working with sophisticated IT projects/initiatives in an Agile methodology frameworkBS or above in Computer Science or related fieldStrong experience in SQL and PL/SQL.In-depth knowledge of Oracle databases, RAC, Performance & Tuning and SQL TuningExpertise in Database Design, , ETL strategies, HA and DR strategy options to maintain RPO and RTO targetsBuild, Deliver, Configure, and maintain Oracle in a Cloud Infrastructure like AWSExperience crafting, building, and deploying applications in a DevOps environment utilizing CI/CD tools.Experience in Database Performance Tuning and Production SupportExperience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy are a plusKnowledge and/or awareness of web/application development technologies that will integrate with the back-end database such as Java/Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Angular, Node JSOutstanding problem-solving and debugging skills. xmcpwfuOptimally work in a fast paced, dynamic environment to help the Agile team achieve their goalsThe Value You DeliverYou will work closely with team/squad front-end and middle-tier developers, systems analysts, the squad lead and other team membersYou will participate in architecture, technical design, and product implementation discussions.
