Breakfast Attendant

POSITION PURPOSE: The primary responsibility of the Breakfast Bar Attendant position is to set up breakfast and ensure breakfast bar is stocked at all times while open, ensuring that all procedures are completed to the hotel’s standards and assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Outstanding customer service – anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests even when busy Maintain complete knowledge of breakfast menu Keep breakfast food items and beverages fully stocked at all times while open Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment Greet and assist guests upon their arrival Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas Remove all plates, glassware and utensils from tables Maintain knowledge of hotel’s standards, policies, and procedures Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests Treat work area, tools used to complete the duties of the position and the entire facility with respect All other duties as assigned Benefits: Employee discount Schedule: Every weekend Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred) Language: English (Preferred) Work Location: In person
