Associate Attorney - Family Law Litigation

Bermudez Engel Law, P.A. is a boutique family law firm serving clients across Hillsborough County and the greater Tampa Bay area. The firm handles a high volume of litigation-driven family law matters, including dissolution of marriage, paternity, modifications, enforcement, and relocations.The firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing practice. This position offers meaningful case responsibility, regular courtroom exposure, and the opportunity to develop as a litigator within a structured and fast-paced environment.This is a primarily remote position, with required in-person attendance for hearings, mediations, depositions, and other court-related proceedings throughout Hillsborough County and surrounding counties.The Associate Attorney will work closely with the firm's principal attorney and will be involved in all stages of litigation, including case strategy, drafting, client communication, and court appearances. The role is designed for an attorney who is ready to take ownership of cases while continuing to develop practical litigation skills.This position is best suited for an attorney seeking hands-on experience, a steady flow of cases, and the opportunity to grow within a busy and expanding family law practice.The position offers a structured compensation model with opportunities for additional earnings through a performance-based bonus structure after an initial onboarding period, as well as a technology stipend to support a remote work environment.Active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.Ability to attend in-person hearings, mediations, and depositions in Hillsborough County and surrounding counties as required.Strong legal writing and organizational skills.Ability to manage deadlines and multiple cases effectively.Family law experience is a plus, but not required.
