The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet production goals, enhance efficiency, and maintain quality standards in a high mix, high technology SMT contract manufacturing environment. Daily responsibilities include designing and improving manufacturing workflows, identifying opportunities for process enhancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting production challenges, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.QualificationsExperience with Manufacturing Engineering and familiarity with various manufacturing processes for SMT and complex assembliesProficiency in Process Engineering and Analytical Skills for process design and optimizationKnowledge of Mechanical Engineering principlesStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environmentProven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines effectivelyBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering, or a related field5+ years experience in electronics contract manufacturing or similar industries is a plusKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma certification is preferredKnowledge of ISO9001Quality System/manufacturing requirementsUS Person as defined in 22 CRF Part 120.15 (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees and those given asylum in the United States, and temporary residents granted amnesty) since work includes ITAR controlled technical data
