Job DescriptionDirector of Physical TherapyLocation: Brooklyn, New YorkEmployment type: Full TimeCompensationSalary range: $120,000 – $160,000 based on experienceResponsibilities• Evaluate patients' mobility, strength, and functional abilities• Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans• Provide hands-on therapy, including manual and trigger point techniques• Monitor progress and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes• Educate patients and families on exercises, prevention, and wellness• Document care accurately using EMR systems• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across settings• Participate in ongoing professional developmentRequirements• Valid Physical Therapist license• Experience in acute care, hospital, outpatient, or home/community settings• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology• Experience treating diverse populations (orthopedic, geriatric, pediatric, post-surgical)• Proficiency with EMR documentation• Excellent communication and teamwork skills• Knowledge of discharge planning and continuity of careIf you are interested, please email me your resume to yitz@thefwdgroup.com or PM me
