This position creates value by safely assisting with the production of corrugated sheets to be made into printed boxes for our valued customers. We offer opportunities for advancement as those openings occur.SalaryStarting pay rate: $20.50 per hour.Shift Differential: 2nd Shift (.75) & 3rd Shift ($1.00).This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.ShiftCurrently hiring forMust be flexible to work all shifts as needed.1st (6:00am - 2:00pm) Shift2nd (2:00pm 10:00pm) Shift.3rd (10:00pm - 6:00am) Shift.Must be flexible to work all shifts, as needed.What You Will Do in Your RoleSafely driving and operating a forklift (obtain/maintain certification)Loading and unloading materialsProperly and accurately completing all required shipping documentation (both manually and with the use of a computer software system)Determining the resources available for the production and distribution processParticipating in setting team goals and managing job assignmentsPerforming general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environmentUtilize basic computer skills to complete shipping tasksWilling and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environmentWilling and able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as neededWilling and able to sit for at least eight (8) (12) hours a dayWilling and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.The Experience You Will BringRequirements:One (1) year of experience operating a forklift, clamp truck, or other similar type of equipmentWhat Will Put You AheadHigh School Diploma or GEDOne (1) year of experience driving and operating a forklift within an industrial or manufacturing environmentPrevious experience using a Radio Frequency (RF) scannerAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
