Senior Client AccountantWilmington, DEMonday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:00Hybrid | 3 days in OfficeSome things you will be doing:Manage the full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of client entities, including SPVsPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including consolidated financial statements with intercompany eliminations, in accordance with US GAAPCoordinate and manage year-end audits and work closely with external auditorsMaintain general ledgers, perform reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of financial dataPrepare capital call and distribution calculations, investor allocations, and supporting schedulesServe as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely and professional communicationEnsure all client deliverables are completed accurately and within deadlines, including during peak reporting periodsAssist in process improvements and implementation of best practices across client engagementsPartner with offshore accounting teams to execute client deliverables, including reviewing work product, managing workflows, and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timelinessWhat technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA a plus)4-6+ years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting, fund administration, or client servicesExperience in accounting for Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) or investment structures strongly preferredDemonstrated experience working in a client service-oriented environmentAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding, recurring deadlines throughout the yearStrong understanding of US GAAPPreferred SkillsExperience with QuickBooks and/or Investran is a plusStrong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systemsExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsKey CompetenciesAttention to detail and accuracyClient relationship managementTime management and the ability to meet tight deadlinesProactive and solutions-oriented mindset#CSC #CSCCareers #LI-HL1
