Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.Position OverviewAs a EDI RPG Developer your roles and responsibilities will include:Works with the developers and the ERP team members to provide analysis and specifications for additional/new EDI documentsDevelops, maintains, and tests EDI maps, related interfaces, and data communications scriptsAssist in troubleshooting of EDI transactions and workflowsDelegate non-EDI issues to the appropriate resourcesAssist in the transition of EDI systems to next-generation environmentsQualificationsMost importantly, you need to be a passionate EDI RPG Developer who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal EDI RPG Developer would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:5+ years of EDI experience working in an RPG environmentExperience EDI translators: such as Gentran, AS2, TrustedLink, ExtolEDI in a RPG environmentExperience with different ERP Systems such as Mincron, SysPro, Epicor, Infor or othersFunctional Knowledge of business processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, CRM, Financial, Supply Chain, Logistics, Service Management)Familiarity with IBM i-based ERP systemsWe understand that even if you are a seasoned EDI RPG Developer, you may not have all the skills listed here.Additional Information: Compensation: Based on Experience.
