The Department of Urology is seeking a BC/BE General Urologist or Endourologist to join our growing team of exceptional physicians. This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant team in one of the fastest growing areas of the country with brand new practice facilities including new outpatient clinic space and a newly opened 649 bed hospital.Qualified candidate will hold a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona commensurate with experience. Opportunities for clinical and basic science research are available for the interested candidate.Qualifications, Features and Functions:Academic Urology position providing education and training of medical students and residents in both clinic and OR settingsJoin group of 14 MDs and APPs with ongoing recruitments to meet strong patient demandClinical care of patients with complex kidney stonesCases/Procedures include percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, treatment of BPHContemporary operating rooms with dedicated cystoscopy roomsDaVinci DV5, Xi and SP robots availableFlexibility with schedule: 2/3 days in clinic weeklyCall schedule: 7 days call monthly with resident coverageAverage Clinical Patient Load: 20-25/day - with MA supportValid AZ MD Medical License (or eligible to receive)Desire to join the leading team providing Urologic care in the Southwest Experienced candidates preferred but new grads will be consideredBanner Benefits:You take care of others.
