Quality Manager – Utility Scale Solar & BESSWe are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to support the construction of a utility-scale renewable energy project in New Mexico consisting of approximately 125MW of Solar PV and 50MW of Battery Energy Storage (BESS).This is a full time, direct hire position (Salary). The Quality Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the project's quality program, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, construction specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices throughout all phases of construction.ResponsibilitiesLead all site quality activities for the Solar PV and BESS project.Develop, implement, and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and quality control processes.Manage quality documentation, submittals, RFIs, NCRs, corrective actions, and closeout documentation.Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, installations, and completed work to verify compliance with project requirements.Perform quality audits and ensure proper document control across the project team.Train and mentor project personnel and subcontractors on quality standards, procedures, and documentation requirements.Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract requirements to ensure quality compliance.Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues.Track quality metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Coordinate with project management, construction teams, subcontractors, and commissioning personnel to ensure successful project execution.Utilize SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and internal quality management systems to maintain project records and reporting.Promote a strong safety culture while supporting quality objectives.QualificationsExperience as a Quality Manager, QA/QC Manager, or Senior Quality Representative on utility-scale renewable energy, power generation, industrial, or heavy construction projects.Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage (BESS) experience strongly preferred.Experience developing and implementing quality programs, ITPs, NCR processes, and document control procedures.Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.Experience managing submittals, RFIs, audits, inspections, and project turnover documentation.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and collaborate across multiple disciplines.Schedule & RotationMonday through Friday: 10-hour daysSaturday: 8-hour dayRotation schedule:Four consecutive weeks on-siteFifth week off Thursday through SundayAdditional InformationInitial onboarding and training will be conducted in Houston before mobilization to the project site.Opportunity to support additional projects between assignments.Long-term growth opportunity with a strong pipeline of renewable energy projects.If you have experience leading quality programs on utility-scale energy or industrial construction projects and are looking for a long-term opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
