*Job Overview* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your experience in construction painting. *Responsibilities* * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer or other surface treatments in accordance with construction painting surface preparation standards. * Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (including airless and conventional spray equipment), and power tools to achieve smooth, even coverage. * Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and detailed specifications to accurately execute painting tasks aligned with project requirements. * Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas while adhering to safety regulations and respiratory protection protocols. * Perform structural painting tasks such as stucco, drywall finishing, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry work, and concrete finishing as needed for renovation or restoration projects. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations by following safety protocol adherence practices and maintaining a clean work environment. * Assist with the installation of fixtures and perform maintenance or repair work related to painting or surface finishing. * Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and schematics for precise application of coatings on various surfaces including industrial or commercial settings. *Experience* * Proven experience in construction painting with a strong background in residential and commercial projects. * Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and the use of personal protective equipment such as respiratory protection. * Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless spraying), brushes, rollers, and scaffolding or ladders for high access areas. * Knowledge of color theory for effective visual color comparison and aesthetic results. * Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics related to construction projects. * Experience in renovation, restoration work, or industrial painting is highly desirable. * Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating coverage and surface preparation. * Additional skills such as carpentry (trim carpentry or frame carpentry), drywall installation/repair, masonry (stucco/masonry), plastering, welding or fixture installation will be considered advantageous.
