Program Director

Position Overview:The Program Director provides strategic leadership and day-to-day management of Procedeo’s program management services. Serving as the primary liaison between the client and Procedeo, this role ensures successful program delivery, team performance, and compliance with all contractual obligations.This is a full-time, on-site role for a Program Director based in Portland, OR. The Program Director will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various capital projects. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards, and leading project teams to successful outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Provide overall leadership, direction, and accountability for the successful execution of the program.Serve as the primary point of contact with client leadership, Design and Construction Services, and the Board of Education.Represent Procedeo in all program-related meetings, presentations, and communications with the client.Oversee public relations activities related to the program as requested by the client.Manage the daily operations of the Procedeo Program Management Team, including business, technical, and administrative functions.Ensure team performance through effective staff selection, assignment, development, and evaluation.Establish, review, and approve program policies, procedures, and best practices.Administer all prime contracts, joint venture agreements, and sub-consultant agreements on behalf of Procedeo.Lead the development of design-phase strategies and phasing plans in collaboration with the Design Manager and Senior Construction Manager.Direct design and construction phases in coordination with design and construction leads.Support the Program Executive with program-wide initiatives and special assignments.Perform other duties as necessary to ensure program success. Qualifications:Extensive leadership experience in program or project management within the K-12, public sector, or large-scale capital improvement environment.Strong skills in contract administration, business operations, and team management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with executive leadership and governing boards.Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-phase design and construction programs.
